The one where I decide to go under the knife

Since then, I’ve lost a lens down the sink drain, cracked a lens, lost another lens in the wind, recieved a cracked replacement for a lost lens…
Mishaps aside, I’ve been very happy with the results of the contact lenses - being able to drive again is huge all by itself.
But the lens was never going to be the final
After Thanksgiving, I have a consultation with a Chandler eye surgeon to see if I’m a candidate for a cornea transplant.
Yup. Gonna see if we can get that mountain peak shaped cornea cut out and replaced with a normal one!
Should be exciting AND nerve-wracking.
